Serena on to finals
Serena Williams is heading back to the finals of the Sony Ericsson Open for the second straight year. Williams defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinals earlier today. The match was extremely close between the two powerful women. Williams will now face the winner between Jelena Jankovic and Vera Zvonareva, which will be determined later today. Williams is looking to win this tournament for the second consecutive year and the fifth time overall.
Once again, Serena looked fit and ready to play. The first set didn’t go that well for her, but she maintained her composure and didn’t let that effect her play. Whoever she faces in the finals she is definitely going to be the favorite. Congrats to Serena!!
