  2. Dude, you need to sharpen your pencil with these picks…your picking no chance under-dogs and heavy favs that have enought juice to drown in…

  3. While I do agree that we have picked some favorites, I wouldn’t agree that we picked “no chance under-dogs.” Nishikori won the first set against Gicquel, dropped the second 7-5, and then had to retire because of a reoccuring abdominal injury. Lisicki is a very good player who has beaten Safina, Chakvetadze, and Davenport this year. She is more than capable of beating Bartoli, but just didn’t on this day.

For the favorites, we like to talk about players everyone knows and that is tough to do in the first round without picking favorites!

  4. Fair enough…havent been following tennis as long as Mr.Nick but I can still smell out a nice underdog here and there…picking Nadal,Federer in the early rounds doent reqire much thought…close to form players as you know are hard to choose like my Erakovic pick today …you did pick Haas and that was close so congrats…Watch out for Stadler and Eaton…

  5. your pick “Gonzalez in 4 set”
    result: Gonzalez in 3 set
    your “Correct”= Yes

    ??????

  6. We don’t promise sets, just the pick!! :-)

  7. I pick Vaidisova to beat Dellacqua in 2 sets.

  8. I agree…just pick a winner…all the set predications is bs…where are the PICKS MR.NICKS…

  9. LUV THOSE FAVS HUH…

  10. This website is brilliant, glad I found it. I pick Vaidisova to beat Chakvetadze in 2 tight sets.

  11. [...] Overall picks grid Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)2008 French Open – Nick’s Picks Accuracy Score [...]

  12. Quarter Finals: Vaidisova bt Zheng 2-0, S Williams bt A Radwanska 2-0, Dementieva v Petrova too close to call, V Williams bt Tanasugarn 2-0.
    Semi Finals: S Williams bt Vaidisova 2-1, V Williams bt Dementieva/Petrova 2-0.

I love Nicole Vaidisova, she’s so hot.

  13. QF woman : A. Radwanska, N. Petrova, Vaidisova, V Williams
    SF : A. Radwanska, V Williams

  14. Federer bt Ancic 3-0, Safin bt Lopez in 4, Schuettler v Clement no idea, Nadal bt Murray in 3 or 4.
Federer bt Safin 3-0, Nadal bt Schuettler/Clement 3-0.

A Radwanska doesn’t have a big enough serve and her ground strokes don’t have enough pace on them to trouble Serena. Venus and Serena hammered the Radwanska sisters 6-0 6-4 in the doubles. Serena bt Urszula Radwanska 6-4 6-4 in round 2.

  15. I’m going for S Williams bt Zheng 2-0, V Williams bt Dementieva 2-0, Federer bt Safin 3-0, Nadal bt whoever comes through 3-0.
Zheng has done well, but Serena is on fire.

  16. Anyone else got any opinions or am I just giving winning tips to myself here?

  17. keep ‘em coming!!
