Rus takes #1 spot
Arantxa Rus
There is a new #1 atop the Junior Girl’s Rankings, and it is IMG client Arantxa Rus (from the Netherlands). The 17-year old Rus, who won the 2008 Junior Australian Open and a Challenger in Bari earlier this year, will start playing a combination of Challenger and WTA events this year. She reached the semifinals at the Junior French Open and the quarters at Junior Wimbledon this year as well.
Congrats to Arantxa and we will be keeping our eye on her throughout the next couple of years.
