Just because the ATP and WTA calendars have ended, doesn’t mean play has stopped on the Challenger level. NBTA student, Filip Krajinovic, qualified for the main draw in Knoxville, TN. Krajinovic won three matches to get into the main draw, defeating fifth-seeded Marcus Fugate and the top-seeded Phillip Simmonds to advance.

Today, he will face a touch challenge in American Robbie Kendrick. Kendrick is currently ranked #84 in the world and is the third seed in this tournament. Krajinovic, only 16-years old, is currently at #901 in the world in the ATP rankings and is also ranked 15th by the ITF in the junior rankings.

Good luck to Filip today!
