Donald Young at Academy training
American Donald Young is training at the Academy for a couple of days and was out on the court this morning with two other young Americans, Bo Seal and Jordan Cox (who won the Boy’s 16 Singles at Kalamazoo earlier this year). Young finished the season ranked #140 in the world, down from a career high of #73, which he acheived back in April.
Recently, Young has had good success on the Challenger series. He won the title in Sacramento, reached the semis in Calabasas, and the finals in Louisville. Perhaps his best result of the season was his thrilling five-set loss to James Blake in the first round of the US Open. He demonstrated to everyone just how good he can be and his potential is right up there with the best of them.
Here are some pictures of Donald practicing in the indoor center from this morning with Jordan and Bo:

First one to the net wins, otherwise: You will continue to beat those you do and lose to those you do since you will not beat a better player from the baseline. If you are going to lose a point, lose it at the net.
