It was a magical run in RG but you forgot to mention her wins in Estoril Open and Madrid. She won three rounds in the qualifying in Estoril and lost in the first round of the md to Peer 64 06 06. In Madrid she passed one round in the qualie but lost against Gronefeld. What a great clay court year for Michelle. Good luck in grass!

It is not only about grunting, personally I don’t mind it at all. Trashing her racquet, pumping her fist, when her opponent makes a double fault, bitching at the umpire… A 16 years old girl should be taught about the manners first, it will be harder every year to make her understand that.
