Dent, Levine pick up first round wins in Newport

Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy pros Taylor Dent and Jesse Levine both played and won their first round matches at the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, Rhode Island. Dent, who received a wild card, beat Brazilian Marcos Daniel 6-2, 6-1 and will face either Fabrice Santoro or Flavio Cipolla in the second round. Levine defeated the big-serving Australian Chris Guccione 7-6(2), 7-6(2) and will take on either Philipp Petzschner or Horacio Zeballos in the next round.
