Bollettieri student Hong Chung takes down top seed
IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy student Hong Chung
IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy student Hong Chung, who is only 16 years old, defeated the world #8 and top seed of the Asian/Oceania Closed Championships (ITF GB1) to move into the quarterfinals. Hong won 6-3, 6-3 over Liang-Chi Huang, who has been ranked as high as #3 in the ITF junior world rankings. Hong recently moved to Brandeton, Florida to train at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy with his younger brother, Hyeon Chung and is currently ranked #355 in the ITF world rankings.
