Berankis wins Grass Court Title in Nottingham!
Ricardas Berankis
Nineteen-year-old and IMG Bollettieri student, Ricardas Berankis, won his first ATP Challenger Title at the grass court Aegon Trophy event in Nottingham, England by defeating Go Soeda of Japan 6-4, 6-4 in the final. Berankis, the 2007 World #1 Junior, reached his first ATP Tour Quarterfinal as a Qualifier at the SAP Open in San Jose, California in February of this year. This tournament victory should move Berankis just inside the top 150 on the ATP Tour World Rankings making him just one of two teenagers to make this cut.
